Hello Author gives authors a chance to say "Hello" to their potential readers by providing a single place to watch interviews and see the books they've written. Authors must provide at least one book (currently available for readers to purchase) with a minimum of three legitimate reviews (from any reputable review site like Goodreads, LibraryThing, Amazon, etc...)

A public link to an interview, reading, or talk featuring you — YouTube, Vimeo, or another video site. No interview yet? You can request one with our team after applying.

What verification means

Every verified author on Hello Author has completed a recorded video interview — proof of identity that readers can watch for themselves.

Your verified profile includes the interview, your books, and a badge readers can trust.

Charter membership

The first twenty authors ever verified earn a permanent Charter mark. Apply anytime — it’s simply a quiet nod to being early.

Beta Terms

I understand that by joining Hello Author, I am agreeing to have a profile created in my name that I can make public, that Hello Author may remove any profile at its sole discretion with or without notice, and that by participating in a video interview I grant Hello Author a perpetual license to display that recording on my profile.
